Mark Swallow

Grace and Peace,
Mark
Originally from Boston, Pastor Mark has lived in Hong Kong for almost 20 years. He is a graduate of Gordon College and The Fuller Seminary in Pasadena California. He moved to Asia working for a real estate investment company. While he enjoyed business, Mark eventually moved back into church based ministry serving as a mission pastor and elder in a large evangelical church in the city. That’s how he developed a passion for sharing the Gospel and church planting among unreached people groups. For seven years he then served as the Area Director for a cross-cultural church planting ministry called World Team and oversaw ministry in China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Turkey. But always passionate about preaching and teaching the Bible, Pastor Mark returned to pastoral ministry and now serves as the Teaching Pastor of a church in Hong Kong.
He’s married to Ling and together they enjoy family, food, travel, and watching sports and cheering on their favorite teams in this order: the Patriots, Red Sox, Bruins, and Celtics. Pastor Mark is also an avid reader of both fiction and non-fiction. And he enjoys a good cup of black coffee!
