Pastor Mathew Nadworny

Pastor Mathew Nadworny is the founding and lead pastor of Great Rock Church in Danvers, Massachusetts. He began the ministry in 2005 with just ten people meeting in his home in Saugus, MA. Over the past two decades, Great Rock Church has experienced steady growth and transformation, moving from a hotel conference room to a storefront, then to a small chapel, and ultimately purchasing seven acres of land. After a five-year building process, the church opened its current facility at 256 Andover Street in December 2017.

Pastor Mat currently teaches two Sunday morning services and a midweek Wednesday evening service, all centered on exalting the Lord Jesus Christ through contemporary worship and verse-by-verse, expository preaching. Beyond Sunday services, Pastor Mat has a passion for community outreach across Boston’s North Shore. Great Rock Church hosts a weekly addiction recovery meeting grounded in biblical teaching and operates a church-run thrift store six days a week. In 2012, he pioneered a six-month residential drug and alcohol discipleship program for men, producing over 100 graduates to date. In 2017, he founded “Rock Construction,” a program that helps graduates learn and develop carpentry skills and offers work placement after completion.

During his radio program, The Calvary Road Pastor Mat expounds on Scripture, providing listeners with biblical insights and teachings.
