About Tamisha Civil
Tamisha has worked for the Criminal Justice system for the last 7 years. She worked for the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office as a Victim Witness Advocate in Suffolk Superior Court. She took the opportunity to work for the Massachusetts Probation Services as an Associate Probation Officer. Tamisha also works as a Legal Advocate for Finex House Domestic Violence Shelter to help women and children impacted by domestic violence.
Tamisha was reappointed on January 1, 2020 as Commissioner for the Eastern Regional Commission on the Status of Women. She is a Girl Scout Troop Leader in Stoughton, Massachusetts and a member of the Parent Council Committee at Joseph R. Dawe, Jr. Elementary School.
